Product Description Infinite Undiscovery X360
Customer Reviews: The eight year old's dramaJuly 31, 2010 Demetrius Vincent(FARMINGTON, MI, US) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Infinate Undiscovery was a mess in almost all areas. The battle system was like Star Ocean; Till the End of Time exept the style of encounters makes it a lot less smooth. As far as the rest of the game goes, the rating can be misleading. There is no way I could recommend this to anyone above 13. In the beginning you have a character who thinks fighting is stupid, completely oblivious to everything going on around him he clings to this. Then a random personal tragedy makes him think he's Rau le Cru ce (all people must die) and then after an encounter with the love intrest trades that in for a Messiah Complex (thinks he can save the world). Regardless of how this may sound its actually executed horribly. The story probably could have been salvaged if they didn't try to make it so kiddy. It will seem like the T rating came from one person bleeding once too many times. This game only has two redeeming factors which seem to be overshadowed by other things but though sugar coated they don't go out of their way to avoid character casualties and the crafting system can be somewhat refreshing. So unless you became a manic depressive because of playing FFVII at a young age and couldn't understand FFVIII, and just confused by FFX don't play this game. You will never forgive Square Enix for it.
A Fun And Entertaining Game If You Give It A ShotJuly 29, 2010 Rich(CA) I had actually played this game a few years earlier before I had my own Xbox 360 and now that I've gotten one this is one of the few games I knew I had to get for my gaming library. The animation, effects, soundtrack, and voice cast are great and while you so have to get use to the unique fighting controls of the game once you do you will see how enjoyable the game truly is. If you're a fan of turn based RPG games than this game probably won't be for you as it doesn't use that kind of battle scenario during the fights which I kind of appreciated as while I do like the turn based fights in some of my RPG games it does sometimes get a little annoying too. So for fans of games like Eternal Sonata and Tales of Vesparia here's another title worth checking out before it becomes another hard to find game out on the web....
AggravationApril 13, 2010 R. Johnson(Scottsdale, AZ, USA) The controls on this game are more challenging than the gameplay itself. I expected something good or at least playable, but I was very disappointed. The battle mode makes no sense at all and as other people have said it's more of a game that you WATCH rather than PLAY. If you like pretty graphics and storyline then you may as well watch a dvd. There's not much to play here.
Nice RPGMarch 11, 2010 Patricia Moore(USA) This game is OK. I am not thrilled with the combat system but I am a fan of turn based games. I gave it to my son and he seems to really like it.
you kind of need a brain to play thisJanuary 3, 2010 S. MCCANN(Graham) This game is fun but you also need to figure out some puzzle type situations which i don't like that in games. leave my problem solving side of my brain out of it. let my brain turn to mush during video game playing its fine. other than that its kind of fun and has exotic looking places and creatures. some of the weapons and attacks look good. The cut scenes have good graphics and the story line is decent.
