Customer Reviews: Campy, Fun VideogameAugust 26, 2010 MissCupcake I purchased this game because I had received a 10 dollar Amazon gift certificate. It's composed of many mini-games, including battles with other monsters. During the game, you search for parts to use to build more monsters. The theme of the game is inspired by old b-horror movies. Overall, it's a really neat game, especially because Halloween is coming up soon. It might be a little frightening to very young users, but for older kids and adults, it's good, campy fun.
Monster lab is okJuly 22, 2010 A. King(Iowa) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was hoping this was for 2 people, but it is an engaging game for one. Maybe it is, as I'm kind of new to Wii and still figuring things out.
Fun for ~10 minutesMay 13, 2010 Dean's Mommy(Albany, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was so excited to get this game but after ~10 minutes of play I got extremely bored. The monster fights are slow (each monster takes a turn and you have plenty of time to choose your action) and every fight seems the same. Also, there isn't as much freedom in creating your indiviualized monster as there should be - there are only a few choices for body parts/heads/etc. The game is disappointing for this young adult but maybe is appropriate for a young child.
This is a pretty good game especially for $10March 19, 2010 J. Luff(North East USA! -prime camping country!) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Good game, half fighting/half adventure. The first 30 minutes of the game are pretty much a tutorial on how to play. It really reminds me of Medieval which is an old PS1 game. Same feel. I do recommend it if you like Halloween and monsters.. I love the feel of this game. It has great graphics also.
Wii Monster LabMarch 2, 2010 Jackie Arrowood(Georgia) My son (14 yo) loves this game, but he is having a hard time finding anyone to play on line with. His friend code is 4812-8925-5566 if anyone wants to play.
